is everything to me

For me, music is something that enhances all facets of life, whether I’m making it or listening to it. And I’m usually doing one or the other.

Having made music all my life, I’m now working full time as a composer and sound designer for a whole bunch of really cool things, mostly in the indie game world.

I love the feeling of creating something new and exciting. Few things make me happier than bringing visions to life, building experiences that people will celebrate and connect with.

but what

GENRE?

“Genre”, that’s an interesting word. And it can be an extremely useful thing, when I’m searching for great music to be inspired by or considering how to approach a new project.

But I also think that genres are best when they’re subverted a little, twisted into bold new shapes.

For me, that’s when music really stands out from the crowd and strides into exciting, untrodden territory.

That’s why I love working across a bunch of styles, whether that’s cozy comfort lofi and zen flute soundscapes, or fantasy battle fury and knee-trembling terror.

Together we can dive into your inspirations and celebrate them, while creating something iconic, unique and utterly unforgettable.

I adore building moods, creating vibes. And I’m honoured when excellent people trust me to shape the sound of their worlds, their characters, their gameplay.

Games, movies, audio… these things feel like magic to me. They’re tangible things loaded with ephemeral qualities, that live in our brains and hearts, our eyes and ears.

And they work best when they’re born of real human creativity, the desire to bring something new, exciting and real into the world that can engage people, get them fired up, maybe change their day. Maybe change their life.

And that humanity is so important to me, no matter what I’m working on.

That’s why everything I create is crafted from scratch, no shortcuts, no gen AI, no slop.

Just real, handmade audio to connect with real human audiences.
